Building Dimensions

The size of your structure is dictated by court type, number of courts, and location of stands. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to customize a facility to fit your needs. The following dimensions are typically recommended for sizing:

70x70

  • Minimum recommended for half basketball court

  • This will also work for 2 pickleball courts with some room to spare

70x100

  • Minimum recommended for half basketball court with stands on one side

  • Standard for 1 tennis court

  • This will get you 3-4 pickleball courts depending on space between courts

100x200

  • Standard for 1 full length basketball/volleyball court with stands on each side

  • Standard for 4 tennis courts

  • Bump this up to 120x200 to have the ultimate 12 court pickleball facility

200x400

  • 4 full length basketball/volleyball courts with stands on each court

  • Common size for indoor football facilities

Eave Heights

The minimum eave height depends on the sport you’re hosting and the roof pitch.

  • For buildings up to 100 ft wide, 2:12 is the most common roof pitch because it blends affordability and aesthetics

  • Most facilities utilize a minimum eave height of 20ft if a higher pitch is utilizes (3:12 or 4:12)

  • Eave heights of 25-40 ft are common for wider or lower pitched buildings. Taller eaves can help accommodate facilities for football punters, baseball outfielders, etc.
